As last month’s Hyperspecific column might have suggested, we’re quite partial to house music that sounds as though it’s on its last legs, and liable to collapse into a sweaty heap at any time. In this remix of a track from Guy Andrews’ excellent Your Notion EP, mysterious Kansas-based producer Huerco S has had his wicked way with the bass-heavy original. The result is a crumbling, atmospheric trudge perfect for fans of recent music by Actress, Andy Stott and Kassem Mosse.
