Evian Christ has shared details of his much-anticipated debut album, Revanchist.
Spanning eight tracks, the record draws heavily on the euphoric ’90s trance that has been the UK producer’s calling card for a number of years as part of his long-running TranceParty event series. Emptyset, Laibach, Sasha, and Madonna and William Orbit’s work together on the album Ray Of Light are also listed in a press release as influences on the LP. The producer, real name Joshua Leary, has shared lead track ‘On Embers’, which opens Revanchist, to mark the album’s announcement. You can listen to it just below.
