Everything But The Girl have unveiled plans for the release of their first album in over 20 years.
Writing on Twitter, the duo of Ben Watt and Tracey Thorn said the album would be released in the spring of 2023. It will mark their first full-length effort since 1999’s Temperamental. The album’s title, tracklist and exact release date are yet to be revealed.
Everything But The Girl formed in Hull in 1982, and went on to have a number of hit singles in the UK, including tracks such as ‘Wrong’, ‘Night And Day’ and ‘Missing’, which was famously remixed by Todd Terry in 1994. Since the release of their last album, the husband-and-wife duo of Watt and Thorn have pursued various other separate projects.
