Erasure have announced a new album, slated for release on September 22 via Mute. The Violet Flame is the follow-up to last year’s ace Christmas album Snow Globe, and has been produced by slick pop producer Richard X.
This album will be the duo of Vince Clarke and Andy Bell’s sixteenth effort, with a lead single from the album due to be released in July. The band will be touring extensively around the album’s release, preceded by two performances at CarFest on August 1 in Cheshire and August 22 in Hampshire – full dates are on the band’s website.
