Elevate festival has confirmed a new wave of acts playing this year’s event including the first of a number of 15th anniversary celebrations for Hyperdub.
2019 sees the label, which is one of tQ’s favourites, celebrate 15 years of releasing boundary-pushing electronic music, and they will be represented by Kode9 playing live with visuals by Koji Morimoto, Ikonika, Okzharp & Manthe Ribane, Shannen SP, Scratchclart & Lady Lykez and Nazar who released his debut record with the label late last year.
Also newly added to the line-up are Keith Fullerton Whitman, Astrid Sonne, Ewa Justka, Sun People, Konx om Pax and more.
Previously confirmed to play are Sunn O))), Deena Abdelwahed, Vladimir Ivkovic, DAF, Puce Mary, Miss Red and Paula Temple, amongst others, while Pamela Anderson leads the list of participants in the festival’s ‘Discourse’ programme.
This year’s Elevate festival takes place in its base of Graz and marks 15 years of the event. It will run from February 27 – March 3. For more information, and to get tickets, click here.
