London DJ and NTS resident Elena Colombi has launched a new record label called Osàre! Editions.
Colombi will take inspiration from her own extensive record collection for the label which takes its name from the Italian word for ‘bold’ or ‘daring’. A press release says that it will focus on "future-facing music culled from a legacy of forward-thinking experimentation and abandon".
The first release, which is due out on September 15, comes from Free Range, a collaboration between Matt Weiner, who runs Atlanta-based electro label CGI Records, and Lithuanian producer Ernestas Sadau. Titled King of Snake, it takes in six tracks with new wave influences.
Following the first release, Osàre! Editions will offer up a retrospective of works by Greek composer Thanasis Zlatanos, covering his synth pieces from the 1980s through until the present day.
