Barcelona production duo Buffetlibre have masterminded a new covers EP, Elaine’s Ghost, featuring contributions from I’m From Barcelona’s Emanuel Lundgren, Jay Jay Johanson, Dragonette, Ed Harcourt and Catherine AD, with all proceeds of sales going to Oxfam. It’s out now and features some rather fine artwork (above) by Carne Griffiths – get hold of the EP from Buffetlibre’s website.
Harcourt and Catherine AD’s track is a collaboration on a cover of The Jesus And Mary Chain’s ‘Sometimes Always’, the duet between Jim Reid and Mazzy Star’s Hope Sandoval from their 1994 Stoned And Dethroned album.
