The Eccentronic Research Council & Maxine Peake’s 1612 Underture has been on heavy rotation in Quietus Towers as of late, with Quietus ed John Doran giving it a glowing review last week, and playing it on BBC 6Music last night. It’s out now on CD via Finders Keepers – and strongly recommended – but the band have just announced that at midday today (Monday 3rd September), a very limited edition vinyl LP version of the album will be going on sale via the label’s website. It’s in a handmade sleeve, designed by Andy Votel, and will, no doubt, be a rather lovely artefact. Click here for the Finders Keepers shop.
