East London Comics and Arts Festival This Weekend

ELCAF returns to East London this weekend for its 4th year

This weekend, June 20 and 21, the East London Comics and Arts Festival is celebrating its fourth year. The festival sports a full bill of events held across two new venues, The Laundry and SPACE, both in Hackney, and includes exhibits, workshops and DJ sets throughout the day. Among those performing is Teeth of the Sea’s Mat Colegate.

Multi award-winning illustrator Jillian Tamaki is this year’s artist-in-residence. Her book, "This One Summer" written by Mariko Tamaki, was the winner of this year’s Printz Honor and is also the the first graphic novel to receive the Caldecott Honor, a distinction reserved for the "most distinguished American picture book for children". Tamaki’s exclusive design for the ELCAF 2015 poster is above and will be available to purchase during the festival. Book your tickets here.
