Duran is the new album from the irreverently named Duran Duran Duran, the production moniker of Philadelphia-based producer Ed Flis.
Following an appearance earlier this year on a various artists compilation released on Bintus’ Power Vaccum label, he makes his full standalone debut on the label with the release of the new album, and streaming above is a visual sampler for the record.
The video’s off-kilter visuals provide fitting accompaniment to the harsh, warped sonics of the record which you can preview via watching the clip, with the record flitting between acid, hardcore, IDM and noise elements, not looking out of place in Power Vacuum’s discography. The album is out on July 25.
