Tomorrow, Front & Follow will release a new record from Graham Dunning and Sam Underwood.
The Blow Volume 5 is the latest in a series of split singles from Front & Follow, which have seen them bring together some of their favourite artists for collaborative records. Each artist is given a side of audio to do with whatever they want, but they are frequently encouraged to work together for the records.
This latest instalment was mostly made on a machine called The Mammoth Beat Organ. They describe it as "a modular, mechanical music contraption," and say that it is "designed as a two-player,
semi-autonomous musical instrument." They add that "it plays unusual, sometimes erratic compositions drawing on drone music, minimalist repetition and fairground organ techniques."
