Drew McDowall will release a new album via Dais this September.
The nine-track Agalma takes in collaborations with Caterina Barbieri, Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe (who features on two tracks), Kali Malone, Elvin Brandhi, MSYLMA, Bashar Suleiman, and Maralie Armstrong-Rial. Above, you can watch a video for the Kali Malone-featuring ‘Agalma V’.
Agalma takes its name from an ancient Greek word for votive offering. McDowall cites "that ‘what the fuck is going on’ feeling" as a central inspiration for the record.
Dais will release Agalma on September 18, 2020.
