While XFM and Absolute Radio deal in indie Cbeebies and 6 music is stuck at home – unless you are fortunate enough to own a mobile digital radio – Domino Records, the label behind Wild Beasts, Animal Collective etc., have announced an FM station that attempts to appeal to a ‘left-field’ audience. Domino Records have announced a sharp selection of musical contributors such as Bobby Gillespie and Faris Badwan while incorporating more indie labels such as Transparent Records and Angular Records as presenters on the temporary station. Domino Radio will launch on 6th June and you will be able to find it over at 87.7 FM. While you wait eagerly, here is a preview of what to expect from the advent of a new breed of FM radio.
