Dog Man Star Doc On Radio 4 Tomorrow!

The final instalment of Follow Up Albums to air tomorrow

Pete Paphides trains his inquisitive gaze upon Suede’s second album Dog Man Star tomorrow morning (Thu) at 11.30am on Radio 4. In the final instalment of his Follow Up Albums series he looks at one of the Quietus’ favourite LPs of all time.

During the show Brett Anderson reveals that perhaps they should have changed their name after the album and the departure of Bernard Butler, and talks about how this would have altered the band’s fortunes.

And you still have all of today left to listen to him get to grips with Fleetwood Mac’s Tusk on the iPlayer. Write to your local ombudsman today and ask for this fine series to be recomissioned for another run next year, so Mr P can get to grips with ABC’s Beauty Stab and Selected Ambient Works 2.
