Dizzee Rascal Announces New Album

"The idea of trying to be my 17 year old self again just because everyone thinks grime’s landed in their lap this week didn’t satisfy me"

Dizzee Rascal has announced details of his first new album in four years, entitled Raskit. Above, you can check out lead track ‘Space’.

The announcement follows a mysterious CCTV video-based clip that went live on the rapper’s website yesterday revealing the album’s tracklist. The album sees Dizzee team his own lyrics with beats from a number of US-based producers, with the MC describing the album as capturing him "rapping my arse off."

Speaking about the album, he continues: "The idea of trying to be my 17 year old self again just because everyone thinks grime’s landed in their lap this week didn’t satisfy me. I wanted to use what I’ve learned to make the best rap album I could, with no hands in the air moments, just using as much English slang as I could over the best beats I could find."

Raskit is set for release on July 21.
