Chicago four-piece Disappears have announced the release of a new 12" entitled Kone. Following the amicable departure of temporary member Steve Shelley (of Sonic Youth fame), it will be released on 16th April and will feature three tracks. We’re happy to be able to offer you the premiere of the video for ‘Kone’, which you can watch below.

Highly-esteemed purveyors of minimal, reverb-drenched soundscapes, Disappears have steadily released three LPs since their debut in 2010, including last year’s compelling Pre-Language. The video is a fitting accompaniment to the track’s metallic drone and syncopated beats, repetitive yet captivating.
