Legendary rock/metal vocalist Ronnie James Dio is to have his first three released as deluxe editions this March. Dio, who passed away in May 2010, had sung in Rainbow and Black Sabbath, as well as fronting his own band Dio for nearly thirty years.
Holy Diver, the band’s 1983 debut, will be released with a bonus CD of extra material (including B-sides and live performances) alongside a remastered version of the original album. The same treatment will be given to its immediate follow up The Last In Line, and 1985’s Sacred Heart. These new CD editions have been endorsed by his widow, Wendy Dio. All are due for release on 12th March.
