Dan Bejar, frontman and songwriter behind indie rock powerhouse Destroyer, has just shared ‘Dream Lover’, which you can stream above. It comes off his new album Poison Season, due out August 28 on Merge Records. Though the track makes use of the same horns that made 2011’s Kaputt such a wonderful record, here they scream with ecstatic abandon instead of whimpering with a Roxy Music-circa-Avalon sense of longing. Pre-order the album on CD or double-vinyl here and look out for a two-song companion 12" featuring a remix of ‘Forces From Above’ and ‘Times Square, Poison Season’ on August 28.
