Desertfest, London’s premier annual weekend of music of a heavier disposition, returns to Camden again in May of next year, and they’ve now begun announcing the line-up.
Heading up the bill are New Jersey stoner rockers Monster Magnet who will make their Desertfest debut with a main stage set. It will be their only UK appearance for 2018 and Desertfest are promising a special day to celebrate their induction into the festival.
American rockers Nebula will return from hiatus for their first show since 2010, with the set seeing founding member Eddie Glass set to take the stage alongside drummer Michael Amster. Eyehategod will return to the festival to play again – Desertfest describe them as one of the most "re-requested" bands in the festival’s history.
Psych rockers Jex Thoth, Greek group Planet of Zeus, Portugal’s The Black Wizards and the UK’s own Black Moth round off the first announcement for next year’s festival, with many more to be announced in the coming months.
Desertfest 2018 takes place across a number of Camden venues from May 4-6 of next year. For more details and to get tickets, click here.
