Musician Simon Fisher Turner was a long-time collaborator with Derek Jarman, working on the soundtracks to many of his films, acting in some of them, and working behind the scenes on aspects of the production.
Turner’s involvement with Jarman’s work came in the period during which the filmmaker was living and working at Prospect Cottage on Dungeness, the building currently subject to an Art Fund campaign to save it for the nation as an arts residency centre.
