Cinema Shooting In Colorado

Fourteen people killed and up to 50 injured after gunman opens fire at a screening of The Dark Night Rises in Colorado

Fourteen people have been killed and up to 50 have been injured at a screening of the new Batman film The Dark Night Rises in Denver, Colorado, report The Guardian. A gunman wearing a gas mask reportedly released a smoke or teargas bomb before opening fire upon attendees. The shooting took place in the Denver suburb of Aurora, 10 miles south of the city. Police arrested a man in his early 20s, said to be carrying a rifle, knife and handgun, in the car park behind the cinema.

Needless to say, this is horrific and tragic news. Our thoughts go out to the family and friends of those affected.
