Dekmantel is marking the upcoming 10th edition of its flagship Amsterdam festival with a 44-track compilation, Dekmantel Ten: A Decade Of Dekmantel Festival.
Set for digital release and in a 7×12-inch vinyl box set edition, it takes in new cuts by artists long-affiliated with the festival, as well as some who will play for the first time this summer. Among the acts who’ve contributed new tracks to the compilation are Jeff Mills, Karenn, Kode9, Steffi, Marcel Dettmann, Peach, Call Super, Verraco, upsammy, Lee Gamble, DJ Python, and Eris Drew & Octo Octa.
The vinyl box set’s seven individual records are designed to mirror the music policy across the seven stages that will be in action at this summer’s Dekmantel festival in Amsterdamse Bos. The festival, this year taking place across two weekends from July 26 through to August 4, will take in sets from the likes of DJ Sprinkles, Helena Hauff, Midori Takada, Actress, Goldie, Josey Rebelle, Alabaster dePlume, Valentina Magaletti, and Ben UFO & Joy Orbison, among many others.
