Dekmantel Confirms Full Lineup For 2023 Edition

Gary Numan, William Basinski and Lucrecia Dalt are among the acts set to play the Amsterdam festival this August

Dekmantel has revealed the full lineup for this summer’s edition of its flagship Amsterdam festival.

The event will, as ever, kick off with two days of opening concerts at venues alongside Amsterdam’s J river, and Jeff Mills will headline the opening night for a live performance based around his 2018 collaborative EP with the late Tony Allen, Tomorrow Comes The Harvest. The following day, the likes of William Basinski, Lucrecia Dalt, Voices From The Lake, Kate NV, Rachika Nayar, Nala Sinephro, Hudson Mohawke and Mohammad Reza Mortazavi are all set to play live.

For the final three days of the festival, Dekmantel will take over Amsterdamse Bos, a forest area on the outskirts of Amsterdam, and Gary Numan, Shygirl, Blawan, Shackleton, Rrose, Poly Chain, Wishmountain, Cymande, Higher Intelligence Agency, Planetary Assault Systems and Stingray 313, among others, are listed to play live sets. Hieroglyphic Being is also set to link up with saxophonist Jerzy Mączyński to premiere a new live show called Universal Frequencies & Harmonies

Among the DJs set to play at Amsterdamse Bos are Moritz von Oswald, Omar-S, Helena Hauff, Objekt, Ben UFO, VTSS, Peach, Shanti Celeste, Donato Dozzy, Paquita Gordon, Avalon Emerson and SVBKVLT label affiliate Hyph11e. The Bug will also combine with Flowdan for a special set, while Lisbon label Príncipe will be represented by DJ Danifox, DJ Firmeza and DJ N***a Fox, who will play together collectively as O Ghettão.

Dekmantel will take place from August 2 to 6, 2023. Find more information here.
