The line-up for this year’s Dekmantel festival in Amsterdam has been revealed, and as with recent years, the 2019 event will cover a series of opening concerts as well as the main weekend itself.
Billed for opening concert appearances across a number of Amsterdam venues on July 31 and August 1 are Sunn O))), Pharaoh Sanders Quartet, Cybotron, Suzanne Ciani, The Comet Is Coming, Jah Wobble & Bill Laswell, Yves Tumor, Caterina Barbieri, Wally Badarou, Sarah Davachi, Deena Abdelwahed, Demdike Stare, Powell, Shinichi Atobe, The Transcendence Orchestra and more.
From there, proceedings relocate to the festival’s forest home of the Amsterdamse Bos. Ugandan Methods, Vatican Shadow, Equiknoxx, Marie Davidson, Roisin Murphy, Nitzer Ebb, Planetary Assault Systems and more are billed for live sets around the festival’s various stages.
DJ sets are locked in from Jon Hopkins, Jeff Mills, Donato Dozzy, Elena Colombi, Surgeon, SPFDJ, Bruce, Batu, Marcel Dettmann, Mala, Slikback, Roza Terenzi, object blue, upsammy, Carista and DJ Storm, amongst many others. Back-to-back sets are scheduled between Ben UFO & Blawan, Octo Octa & Eris Drew and Skee Mask & Zenker Brothers.
