Amsterdam festival Dekmantel has announced the line-up for this year’s festival set to take place across five days in August.
Announced via a teaser video on their website, the likes of Tangerine Dream, Terry & Gyan Riley, Tim Hecker, Helena Hauff, Lena Willikens, Orbital and Objekt feature amongst the announcement.
Also confirmed to play are Goldie & Randall (Metalheadz), Thundercat, Karen Gwyer, Call Super, John Maus, Laraaji, DJ Stingray, Palms Trax, Shanti Celeste, Four Tet, Joy Orbison, Floating Points, Daphni, Yves Tumor, James Holden & The Animal Spirits, Regis & Veronica Vasicka, Phase Fatale, DJ Bone, Powder, Carl Craig Presents Versus Synthesizer Ensemble, Errorsmith, Broken English Club, Yasuaki Shimizu, Mount Kimbie and lots more.
The festival has also confirmed some minor changes to the festival site this year, including the addition of a second UFO stage to accompany the main, techno-focused UFO stage. This new stage will focus on darker and more experimental sounds.
A handful of additional artists are set to be announced in the coming months. Pre-sale tickets go on sale tomorrow (January 24) at 11am, while general sale starts the following day at 11am. Tickets will be available here, where you can also watch the festival’s line-up teaser video. The festival takes place at the Amsterdamse Bos and a number of other Amsterdam locations from August 1-5.
