Death Grips Set Up Their Own Imprint

Band also state that their new album is due next year

Californian hip hop trio Death Grips have announced that they have set up their own label.

Thirdworlds will be an imprint of Harvest/Capitol Records, through which they’ll be releasing their next album, due next year according to the label’s announcement.

The new venture follows last year’s split from their old label Epic, which was preceded by Death Grips posting their last album NO LOVE DEEP WEB (to which they retain the rights, the press release notes) online ahead of its official release.

In other news, drummer Zach Hill, until recently on hiatus from Death Grips’ live line-up is back touring with them for their remaining tour dates, which include shows in Canada, Japan, the U.S. and Mexico; for full details, head to the band’s website.
