British artist Dead Fader returns to Parachute later this year with the release of a brand new album, titled Jenny 153, in December.
The album follows on from the producer’s, otherwise known as John Cohen, debut with the label last year on It Works 1. The new nine-track album is said to sit at the cross-section of club and classical music with the record dealing with themes of acceptance as well as opening up emotionally.
Ahead of the album’s release, a remixes EP will be unleashed next month with Roly Porter, Konx-Om-Pax and JK Flesh having all been called up to each remix a different track from the new album. Streaming exclusively above is JK Flesh’s remix of ‘FYI’. An abrasive track that sits at the more dancefloor-ready end of JK Flesh’s work with its propulsive 4×4 beat, it’s yet another highlight in a busy year for Justin K Broadrick.
The remixes EP is set for release on November 17, while Jenny 153 will be available from December 1.
