David Lynch Readies Second Album

Film director set to release The Big Dream in July; stream Lykke Li collaboration below

David Lynch is set to release his second album, The Big Dream (artwork above), on July 15 via Sunday Best, report Pitchfork.

It follows up 2011’s Crazy Clown Time, which somewhat translated Lynch’s surrealistic style into music, and features 11 of his own songs, plus a cover of Bob Dylan’s ‘The Ballad Of Hollis Brown’ and a bonus track collaboration with Lykke Li entitled ‘I’m Waiting Here’ – have a listen to the track via Spotify below:

Says Lynch of the album: "Most of the songs start out as a type of blues jam and then we go sideways from there. What comes out is a hybrid, modernized form of low-down blues."

Stay tuned for further updates.
