We at The Quietus are very excited for David Bowie’s forthcoming new album, due early next year. Our appetite has been whetted in part by the snippets of new material that we’ve heard, more of which you can hear above. The track is called ‘Blackstar’, the album will also have that title, and you’ll be able to hear the whole ten minute song on Sky Atlantic on November 19th at 8.45pm. It will feature in the credits of new drama The Last Panthers, footage from which can be seen above. Check out the shot of the knackered skull that’s very Darth Vader’s mask in the recent Star Wars trailers.
