DARKSIDE Detail New Album, ‘Nothing’

The third full-length effort from Nicolás Jaar and Dave Harrington's collaborative project is out next month

DARKSIDE have shared details of a new album, Nothing.

Spanning nine tracks, it marks the third full-length release from the duo of Nicolás Jaar and Dave Harrington, who, for this record, invited drummer Tlacael Esparza to become a full-time member of the project.

The trio first began work together in Los Angeles in the summer of 2022 after renting a studio to prepare for a series of DARKSIDE live shows later that year. Recording sessions for Nothing began in the south of France in spring 2023 while on downtime from their European tour, with later studio time following in Los Angeles and Paris.

To mark the announcement of the new album, the trio have shared a video for lead track ‘S.N.C.’, which you can watch below.

Matador will release Nothing on February 28, 2025.
