Dark Entries to Mark 15th Anniversary with Graphic Design-Focused Zine

'Dark Entries Collected Music Graphics' compiles typography, illustrations and various other visual ephemera from the label's history to date

Dark Entries is marking its 15th anniversary with the publishing of a zine focused on the label’s graphic design history.

Put together by label founder Josh Cheon, together with longtime Dark Entries visual designer Eloise Shir-Juen Leigh, Dark Entries Collected Music Graphics covers typography, illustrations, logos and various other visual ephemera from across the label’s 15-year history.

It also takes in an essay by US producer Shawn O’Sullivan, and a full look through the label’s extensive discography to date.

Launched in 2009, Dark Entries was initially known as a hub for reissues of long-forgotten 80s and 90s synth and post-punk records, with releases from the likes of Severed Heads, Crash Course In Science, Lena Platonos and many others having been brought to wider attention via their re-release on the label. More recently, it has also put out new music from producers such as Borusiade, Bill Converse, Sepehr and Cardopusher.

Dark Entries Collected Music Graphics can be purchased via Bandcamp.
