Daphni Announces New Album

Dan Snaith readies his second album under his Daphni alias

Following the release earlier this year of his contribution to the Fabriclive compilation series, Dan Snaith, otherwise known as Caribou, has announced a new album as Daphni. Above, you can hear the album’s lead single ‘Carry On’.

Titled Joli Mai, the album is Snaith’s second full-length under his more dancefloor-focused moniker of Daphni. It’s comprised of extended versions of a number of the tracks that featured on his Fabriclive mix, as well as new and unreleased material such as ‘Vulture’, a track that has been appearing in the sets of DJs such as Ben UFO and Joy Orbison since 2015.

The album is set for release this Friday (October 6), and to celebrate its release, Snaith will play two extended DJ sets in London this weekend – at Five Miles on October 7 and Corsica Studios on October 8.
