The Servant Jazz Quarters in London will host two live shows by Daniel O’Sullivan on December 18 and 19 as part of O Genesis Recordings’ Yuletide Celebrations.
The first date will see O’Sullivan performing material from his excellent recent solo album VELD along with the Dream Lion Ensemble, with support from Glasgow-based musician and O Genesis labelmate Richard Youngs.
Fellow Grumbling Fur member Alexander Tucker will be playing a live solo set of his own, while Tim Burgess and Nik Void will complete the bill with DJ sets.
The following night, O’Sullivan and Tucker will return to the venue to perform together as Grumbling Fur, with support from the Sino-Greek psych/drone outfit Elephant House.
tQ’s own Luke Turner will also be providing a DJ set on the second night.
O’Sullivan released his solo LP VELD earlier this year, and followed it last month with a new EP, The Many We Are.
