New Daniel Lopatin Film Score Set For Release

The producer, otherwise known as Oneohtrix Point Never, has teamed up with directors the Safdie brothers once again

Daniel Lopatin, AKA Oneohtrix Point Never, has once again composed the score for a film by the Safdie brothers, which will be released in December.

Uncut Gems is Lopatin’s second collaboration with Josh and Benny Safdie and stars Adam Sandler in the lead role. The film, which has screened recently at New York and Toronto film festivals, follows a hustler called Howard Ratner as he tries to pay back his debts amid the frenzy of the New York jewellery market.

Lopatin’s score for Uncut Gems, which you can watch the trailer for above, follows on from his work on the 2017 film Good Time, for which he won Best Soundtrack at that year’s Cannes Film Festival.

Uncut Gems Original Motion Picture Soundtrack will be released via Warp Records on December 13.
