Damon Albarn is set to release a new solo album, Dr. Dee, on 7th May. Based around the life and times of the famous Elizabethan doctor of the same name, it’s sets Albarn’s songs to English folk instrumentation as well as more wide ranging influences from African and Renaissance music.
