As you may have heard, if you weren’t at their launch party atop The Shard last night, Daft Punk brought forward their stream of new album Random Access Memories, out on Monday 20 via Columbia, after it was illegally leaked by Pirate Bay – have a listen to it via iTunes here.
You may, like us, have watched a variety of opinions unfold on your Facebook news feed following the stream being posted – most of the ones we saw were veering towards, ahem, distaste, with one member of the Quietus’ editorial staff observing: "A BASS SOLO, DAFT PUNK? ARE YOU F*CKING SHITTING ME?"
