Daft Punk have shared details of a vinyl reissue of their 1997 debut album, Homework.
Announced today (February 22) to mark one year since the French duo revealed their breakup, news of the reissue coincides with a one-off Twitch stream of a rare 1997 live recording featuring them playing live at Los Angeles nightclub The Mayan around the time of Homework‘s release. You can watch that here right now, if you catch it before the stream ends.
The vinyl reissue of Homework marks the album’s 25th anniversary, and will be accompanied by a reissue of the duo’s 2001 live album Alive 1997. Both records will also be reissued digitally, with the Homework release set to include a number of classic remixes of tracks from the album, by the likes of Motorbass, I:Cube, Todd Terry, DJ Sneak and Masters At Work.
Daft Punk announced their split a year ago today, eight years after the release of their last studio album, Random Access Memories.
EMI will release Homework (25th Anniversary Edition) and Alive 1997 on February 25, 2022.
