Following this week’s addition of Rabih Beaini and Floating Points, among others, to the bill for the finale concert, CTM has confirmed a huge wave of new names set to appear across the festival.
Among those added to the line-up today are Mumdance, Rabit, Visionist, Jlin, KABLAM, nkisi, Gesloten Cirkel, Le1f, Why Be, OG Maco, Resom, Thug Entrancer, Disco Halal (feat. Moscoman, Delfonic, Autarkic and guests), Rødhåd and many more.
Rabih Beaini will also present a specially commissioned project called ‘The Red Right Hand’ with the help of Tommaso Cappellato, Liz Allbee, Sharif Sehnaoui, Sam Shalebi, Daniele De Santis, Sofia Jernberg, Rully Shabara and Mazen Kerbaj. Iancy Dumtrescu and Ana-Maria Avram will perform a special project with Hyperion Ensemble which includes among its ranks Stephen O’Malley. Christoph Schlingensief’s African Twin Towers will be re-played by Hanno Leichtmann and Carolin Brandl while Anna Homler and Steven Warwick will present a performance of Breadwoman, an album that will soon be reissued by RVNG INTL.
The theme of CTM 2016 is ‘New Geographies’ and it will take place across multiple Berlin venues from January 29 – February 7. For more details and tickets, head here.
