Court Date Set For Fabric’s Appeal

London club's appeal against Islington Council starts next month

fabric’s appeal against the recent revoking of its license will begin on November 28 at Highbury Magistrates Court.

The club confirmed the appeal date today and will stand against Islington Council in a process that is expected to be pricey – you can donate to their ongoing fund to finance the appeal here.

In addition to fighting the council’s decision to close the club, fabric’s appeal will aim to see changes made to the UK’s current Licensing Act in order to ensure that the same fate does not befall other venues in the UK. The club today has made further confirmation on where the money donated to their appeal will be spent in a second transparency statement – you can read that here.
