The Glasgow festival will host Judith Hamman, DJ Travella and more this April

Counterflows has shared the music programme for its 2023 edition, taking place this April.

The Glasgow festival, which will be spread across various music venues, galleries and community spaces, will this year host sets from Australian cellist Judith Hamman; Nyege Nyege Tapes affiliates DJ Diaki and DJ Travella; Scottish improv vocalist and dancer Maggie Nichols; cross-discipinary Scottish artist Cara Tolmie together with electronic music producer Rian Treanor; Lebanese free improv group "A" Trio; Hyperdub-linked producer Proc Fiskal; and Marseille band Donna Candy.

There will also be a specially commissioned tribute to the art of turntablism by Mariam Rezaei, Maria Chavez and Victoria Shen, while violin/cello duo Silvia Tarozzi & Deborah Walker will link up with Glasgow’s Glad Community Choir.

Tickets for this year’s festival will be available across three tiers, with a standard price on sale, in addition to ‘pay-what-you-can’ and ‘Solidarity’ options.

Counterflows will take place from April 6 to 9, 2023. Find more information here.
