Cosey Fanni Tutti has a new album on the way.

Composed, performed and produced fully by the artist herself, the nine-track 2t2 draws on tough recent years for Cosey which have included personal bereavements and a period of worldwide upheaval, according to a press release. It alternates between rhythmic experiments and more meditative moments.

This is Cosey’s first solo album since 2022’s Delia Derbyshire: The Myths And The Legendary Tapes, while she also published the book RE-SISTERS that same year.

To mark the announcement of 2t2, the artist has shared lead track ‘Stound’, which you can listen to below, and is said to reflect the positive mood that underpins the record. “My overtone chanting on the track ‘Stound’ was part of that, tapping into the inner self, to the core of your being, emotionally, physically, allowing the sounds to permeate and soothe as well as create a sense of power, resistance and resilience to what we face,” she said in a statement.

Conspiracy International will release 2t2 on June 13, 2025.
