Cornershop Announce Book And 7″ Project

Cornershop's Tjinder Singh and frequent artistic collaborator Nick Edwards announce 'read-along' book and 7" vinyl based on the band's 2012 single What Did The Hippie Have In His Bag?

Tjinder Singh of Cornershop and sleeve artist Nick Edwards have been hard at work for the last year on a ‘read-along’ book and 7" vinyl project based around the band’s track ‘What Did The Hippie Have in His Bag?’, now set for release in December.

With 1000 copies in production, the collaboration between Singh and Edwards, who has been responsible for all of Cornershop’s album sleeves since 1997’s When I Was Born for the 7th Time, will be distributed through the Cornershop mail-order, selected bookshops, museum shops and record stores from December 1. There will also be a pop-up shop, billed as "the smallest bookshop in the world", in the front garden of the group’s Stoke Newington base on November 8, with just one book, "the hippie book" on sale. Alternatively, you can pre-order the book and 7" online, from Singh’s Ample Play label here.
