Corbyn Auctions Hat To Eno

Corbyn makes impromptu decision to sell trademark black cap at Stop The War fundraiser dinner; item sold to Brian Eno

It has emerged that Brian Eno bought Jeremy Corbyn’s trademark black cap at an auction for Stop The War over the weekend.

As was reported across the press today, Corbyn had ignored a number of critics within the Labour Party to attend the fundraiser at a Turkish restaurant in Southwark on Friday night. The decision to auction his cap appears to have been an impromptu one with Eno snapping it up for the sum of £250. “It was literally the hat off his own head,” said one guest at the fundraiser. Corbyn quit his role as chairman of Stop The War in September when he was elected leader of the Labour Party.
