Convergence festival have announced the first round of acts for next year’s edition, taking place March 12-21 at venues across London. We here at tQ HQ are pleased to see Gary Numan, Clark, Tricky, George Clinton, Matthew Herbert, Pantha du Prince, Zomby, Darkstar, Kiasmos, Vessels and Portico, with more yet to be announced. Venues for the live shows include the Royal Festival Hall, Village Underground and St John at Hackney Church among others.
Curator Glenn Max, who previously organised Meltdown and Ether festival, said: “Last April Convergence was successfully launched across four venues presenting a compelling array of innovative artists performing new material, one-off collaborations or performing in uniquely situated contexts. This year Convergence expands into new venues including Royal Festival Hall and Kachette in Old Street, growing its focus to include more multi-media projects, more iconic legends of electronic music and more a/v artists pushing the boundaries of sensory experience.” Get hold of tickets for all shows here.
