Ahoy there, cosmos-bound naval vessels! Have a watch of Conquering Animal Sound’s Sally Sibbet-produced video for ‘The Future Does Not Require’, which features footage of a whole host of military boats, spliced apart and then tinted in a full range of psychedelic hues.
The track itself is another excellent piece of electronica-pop from CAS, following on from ‘Ultimate Heat Death Of The Universe’ – flute and organ tones interweave underneath Anneke Kampman sounding at her most Björk-like, while a drum machine turns over with triplet beats, dropping out for a mesmeric coda.
