Australian indie-dance outfit Confidence Man have released two remixes of their single ‘Out the Window’, which can be listened to below.
The song is taken from the band’s debut album Confident Music For Confident People, released on Heavenly Recordings in April, and has been remixed by producer Andrew Weatherall and by Greg and Che Wilson respectively.
Reggie Goodchild, one of the two mysterious, veiled musicians in Confidence Man, called Andrew Weatherall’s remix a “certified banger”, saying that it is “always a pleasure when one of your heroes gets their hand’s on your work, especially for the second time.”
As for the Greg and Che Wilson remix, Goodchild lamented the fact that Confidence Man has missed their chance to “party at the Hacienda”. However, he added that “at least we can have the satisfaction of one of the Hacienda greats adding a hefty dose of anthemic vibe to our latest track.”
Confidence Man play at The Scala, London on August 8.
