Container and Dalhous are set to top the bill at COLLAPSE, a night of live electronic music, DJs and art at the Glue Factory in Glasgow on April 19.
Container, aka Nashville producer Ren Schofield, is making his UK debut, serving up his noisy, scuzzy dance beats that have been making an impression on both sides of the Atlantic. This year he’s already brought us the four-track EP Treatment, released through Morphine, following two LPs via Spectrum Spools in the last couple of years.
Expect new sounds from Dalhous, the latest incarnation of Marc Dall and Alex Ander – once known as Young Hunting. Last year, the Mitchell Heisman EP revealed "industrial rhythms and sweeping orchestral vistas", set to culminate in their upcoming first album, An Ambassador For Laing, again on Blackest Ever Black.
Also performing are house duo Silk Cut, modular synth-based project The Orpheus Choir and eclectic selector Mother, all surrounded by an immersive video installation courtesy of Diane Edwards.
