Coil’s Musick To Play In The Dark² is being reissued by Dais Records, marking the first time the album has been made available on vinyl in 20 years.
Originally released in 2000, the album emerged from the same sessions that birthed Musick To Play In The Dark, released in 1999 and reissued by Dais in November 2020. The album features Coil’s core duo of John Balance and Peter "Sleazy" Christopherson working alongside then recent addition to the project Thighpaulsandra, while Rose McDowall also guests on vocals for two tracks.
With the new edition set to be made available across digital, CD and vinyl formats, Musick To Play In The Dark² has been remastered especially for its new release. You can listen to the newly remastered ‘Ether’ from the album above.
Dais Records will release Musick To Play In The Dark² on April 8, 2022.
