Fabric To Host Club Culture Exhibition

An exhibition on club culture at London's fabric will focus on Berlin techno, Milan Italo disco and more

London’s fabric is set to host an exhibition titled Club Culture next week.

The exhibition will focus on a number of underground music and club-focused subcultures stretching across the last half-decade or so, and has been curated by Ernesto Leal of Red Gallery. Berlin techno, the early Italo disco scene of Milan, soviet-era hippies, the french touch music of the ‘90s, Tokyo punks, US rave culture from 1990-94, UK club culture and the La Movida Madrileña of 1978-85 Madrid will all be represented.

Club Culture will run across all three of fabric’s rooms on April 26, with guests able to visit during two sessions running from 6-8pm and 8-10pm. Proceeds from the exhibition will go to Grae Matta Foundation, which is focused on improving mental health in higher education and the workplace.

You can get tickets and find out more about the exhibition here.
