New Clinic Album Due In November

Seventh LP Free Reign produced with assistance of Oneohtrix Point Never; listen to album sampler below

Liverpool’s Clinic have announced that their seventh album is in the works: Free Reign is set for release on November 12 via Domino. They’ve put out a sampler ahead of the release, featuring some typically warm shades of electronic psychedelia (and a blast of sax, if we’re not mistaken) – listen below:

The band produced the LP themselves in their hometown and had some help in the mixing from Dan Lopatin, aka synth-pop virtuoso and Software label head Oneohtrix Point Never.

Clinic are also releasing the album in a limited edition ‘UFO’ format, containing a glow in the dark "cosmic flying disc"… Alternatively, you can be the proud owner of a fluorescent frisbee with download code come November.

We’ll update with news of the first single and tour dates when we get it; in the meantime, here’s the tracklisting:

  1. ‘Misty’
  1. ‘See Saw’
  1. ‘Seamless Boogie Woogie BBC2 10pm (rpt)’
  1. ‘Cosmic Radiation’
  1. ‘Miss You’
